May 25th Blue Plate Memorial Day Challenge

Granite State Karting was formed to expand go kart racing in New England and provide a unique experience for pavement racers. The 2013 GSK racing program will utilize two separate tracks. One located at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the other at the Manchester Motordrome (Londonderry Raceway). We will incorporate money races, a weekly points series and a Challenge series.

Granite State Karting is pleased to announce that it has expanded and added racing in the 2013 season at the Manchester Motordrome, aka Londonderry Raceway. We have just come to terms with the facility and cleanup work was already started before winter set in. The track surface is in pristine condition having only bicycles racing on it for the past 6 years. Our schedule will include 4 dates at NHMS and 14 dates at the Motordrome. Race dates will be announced soon. We will be racing Saturdays at the new facility with Sundays as possible rain dates, Fridays as practice days and whatever else we need to fit in. There is also a possibility of having additional classes and shows. We will update this site as we finalize everything.

We spent 4 days at the last Cup race @NHMS in our booth talking to racers from around the Northeast and the common theme was the unsolicited enthusiasm for racing at this track because of the speed, drafting and character of the track. We listened and it is back!

The North East Challenge Series will make its return next year also with races at these 2 tracks. We are working on bringing onboard a third track to round out the schedule. This series was well raced and well attended this past season.

The Londonderry facility is a ¼ mile high banked oval that is located 1 mile from the Manchester airport and 5 minutes off the highway. There are plenty of hotels, a large shopping mall and more restaurants than we can name. This is very exciting for us and we appreciate and anticipate your support in expanding our efforts to bring fair, clean and high quality racing to the Granite State.
